Another patch is ready to roll out, dear Wizards! Today we push out another of our minor patches, which means we’re focusing on fixing bugs and improving the gameplay experience. Today’s update tidies up some lingering issues with our newly implemented structure upgrading system, while also fixing some of the community’s more frequently reported bugs.

Something that will be interesting to many players are the changes we’ve made to how we manage and communicate throne decay in-game. A couple new improvements have been added to the game that we believe should alleviate some of the confusion and frustration many players have expressed regarding this system.

The first change in that regard is that we now display your throne’s health in a place where you can easily find it at all times. The icon which represents your throne on both the compass and game’s map will show your throne’s health as a fill effect in the background of the image. It also has three distinct visual cues: green means your throne's health is full or close to full, orange means your throne is damaged, and flashing red means your throne's health is critical. Now you’ll always be fully aware of the status of your throne.

The second change we’ve made to thrones is to ease the burden of our decay system. Many players don’t realize that they need to heal their throne regularly to prevent it from decaying, which can often result in the unexpected loss of their structure. The decay system is designed to remove structures owned by inactive players, so that a server's active players can enjoy a smoother, less sluggish experience. To make this experience cleaner, less tedious, and less confusing we’ve made it so your throne will automatically get its health topped up each time you log into the server.

Additionally, we have some awesome fixes to a few critical bugs. We’ve stamped out a nasty bug that caused frequent crashes for some players when equipping and unequipping certain armors, we’ve fixed an issue that has caused some Mana Generators to not properly power certain Magic Structures, and we’ve even fixed a bug that caused chests to become non –functional for some Custom Game players! Check out the full list of changes in today’s patch below, and let us know what you think of these recent changes in the comments, on the forums, and on our official Twitter!
